Luminous Sculptures

Twenty years of pioneering in integrated precious stone-metal backlit sculpture. Since 2005, Ivana Vio has been carving semi-precious stones — alabaster, onyx, marble — and joining them with noble metals, embedding LED systems within the works themselves. Each sculpture lives in two states: natural, where the stone shows its material beauty, and luminous, where light passing through the mineral veins reveals a hidden world.
